February is Football.v.Homophobia (FvH) month of action and we were delighted to support the Sussex County FA as they hosted two exhibition matches for self-identifying males/females and non-binary people.
Our very own Steve Atkins and Chloe Kerr not only played a blinder in the fixtures but also proudly led both teams out as captains of the Sussex County FA squads. Both Chloe and Steve also raised the cup for their teams as they celebrated a respectable win.
FvH is an international initiative that exists to challenge discrimination based on sexual orientation gender identity and expression at all levels of football.
The campaign aims to unite fans, players, communities, grassroots teams, professional clubs, and the football authorities to ensure the sport continues to work towards being more inclusive.
The event was a fantastic show of inclusion and was a stark reminder to anyone that may have forgot…
Football is For All
