After years of playing the Disability League at Hassocks Sports Centre we are moving for this coming Season 2016/17. Our new home will be the 3G Stadium pitch at Sussex County FA Headquarters at Culver Road in Lancing.
This is an exciting move for players as the surface is one of the best in the County and is slightly bigger so we can have more pitches available to allow more teams to join the league. It is also we believe a good move for spectators as the undercover tiered seating will keep our teams’ valued supporters more comfortable and dry. The hatch will also be open to sell teas, coffees, hot food and snacks.
The change in venue has come thanks to Sussex County FA and their ongoing desire to support better quality facilities and opportunities for all players in the County. The Disability League Committee is extremely grateful for this support and hopes that all players, managers and spectators will appreciate the improved facilities and respect their usage of this fantastic facility.
We appreciate the change in venue will take some getting used to and for some will mean travelling slightly further. Lancing train station is close to the stadium and buses stop in the town. There is a small car park at the Stadium with additional free parking available close by. Further details about transport will be put on our website and sent to team managers prior to the season.
