Sussex Disability Football League is looking for new Committee members to help support and drive forward our ever expanding league.
We are heading into an exciting time for Disability Football in Sussex with new investment from the FA and Sussex County FA and at the core of grassroots participation is the Disability League.
The league has grown from eight to twenty four teams in the past four years and needs to grow and develop further to give more opportunities for adult and youth teams to play.
If you are interested in getting involved we have a number of vacancies including:
- Match Day Coordinators
- Player Registration Secretary
- Funding Officer
- Fixture and Results Secretary
Our mission statement is: “Providing a platform for children and adults with disabilities to play competitive football in Sussex, giving all a fair opportunity to play the game with enough challenge to develop”.
We are this season moving our Central Venue match days to the 3G artificial turf pitch at Sussex County FA. All teams meet at the venue 8 times a year to compete in league divisions and cup competitions with an end of season presentation event organised for all involved.
