As the league develops and grows, we ensure that our committee and volunteers grow with it. Today is an exciting day as we announce 3 changes to the structure of the league committee.
This season we welcomed Jess Barnes to our league and Jess has now been appointed as Assistant League Secretary and also Fixtures Secretary. If managers have any queries in the future regarding fixtures then please contact Jess directly. Welcome on board Jess and good luck!
We also welcome Ben Morris to the league as a Respect Ambassador on match days. We have already seen some fantastic improvements since Ben has joined the team. Steve Atkins our Respect Ambassador adds to his role and will now take on the responsibility for all Referees. Steve will over see referees on match days and will be a huge part of their development over the coming seasons.
Safeguarding is a huge part of all we do here at the SDFL and we are very pleased to announce that Ian Burlinson has been appointed as our League Welfare Officer. Ian has a huge amount of experience within this area and will be more than happy to talk to you should you have any questions around safeguarding within our league and your clubs.
